Hanging Succulent Planter

What you’ll need:
  • Empty Sparkling Ice® Bottles
  • Potting soil
  • Succulents
  • Paint & Brushes
  • Twine
How to make it:
  1. Drink your favorite Sparkling Ice®.
  2. Wash and rinse empty bottles.
  3. Remove label from bottle, and recycle.
  4. Cut bottles to desired length – you can cut either end.
  5. Using masking tape, tape fun patterns.
  6. Paint your bottles, and let them sit for a couple of hours. Don’t forget to grab a new Sparkling Ice® to stay hydrated while you wait!
  7. Carefully remove tape from bottles.
  8. Using a hot nail or a drill, create 3 holes evenly spaced.
  9. Thread twine through holes, tying a knot inside the bottle.
  10. Grab all three ends and tie together.
  11. Fill your hanging bottle with potting soil, and your favorite succulent.

Ring Toss

What you’ll need:
  • 12-18 Empty Sparkling Ice® Bottles
  • Paint & Brushes
  • Sand
  • Plastic rings
  • Wooden crate (optional)
How to make it:
  1. Drink your favorite Sparkling Ice®.
  2. Wash and rinse empty bottles.
  3. Remove label from bottle, and recycle.
  4. Add about 1/4 cup of sand to each bottle. Enough so the wind doesn’t blow them away, but not too much to where they won’t fall down.
  5. Paint your bottles, and let them sit for a couple of hours. Don’t forget to grab a new Sparkling Ice® to stay hydrated while you wait!
  6. Place your painted bottles in a crate, or in any arrangement for a real challenge.

Bird Feeder

What you’ll need:
  • Empty Sparkling Ice® Bottles
  • Craft knife
  • Bird seed
  • Twine
  • Wooden spoons
How to make it:
  1. Drink your favorite Sparkling Ice®.
  2. Wash and rinse empty bottles.
  3. Remove label from bottle, and recycle.
  4. Using a craft knife, carefully cut a hole small enough for the handle of the spoon to slide through on one side.
  5. On the other side, mark where the spoon would go through to the other side and make another hole.
  6. Repeat steps 4-5 for as many perches as you would like.
  7. Slide wooden spoons all the way through both sides.
  8. With the spoon part against the side of the bottle, make an opening above the spoon to allow food to flow onto the spoon. Repeat for all perches
  9. Tie twine around neck of bottle and make a loop to hang the feeder.
  10. Using a funnel, fill feeder with bird seed.
  11. Hang your feeder on your favorite branch.
