Jru Anthony has music in his soul. Growing up in DC, the son of Go-Go Icon Frank “Scooby” Sirius (The Chuck Brown Band, Sirius Company, Lissen, and more), music was always in the house. An accomplished writer, vocalist, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Jru just completed his debut album “Life For Now” due out later this year. A genre bending musical journey rich in texture and emotions, with soulful, melodic, and rhythmic grooves. Jru communicates the art of music in every performance drawing inspiration from across the musical spectrum.
