Italian Sausage and Pepper Sandwiches


  • 4 (2 oz each) Italian sausages
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz sliced provolone cheese
  • 4 Gameday Long Rolls


  1. Preheat grill pan to medium heat and oil grates. Grill sausage, turning occasionally, until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
  2. \Meanwhile, combine pepper, onions, and oil in a medium bowl and toss until coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Grill peppers and onions until tender and begin to brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Top each Roll with provolone, grilled peppers, onions, and sausage and serve.
