Lamb Burgers

These burgers are Greek-inspired and packed with flavor, the ground lamb mixed with traditional favorites like feta, garlic, and mint.  Perfect, summery goodness. If you don’t have a grill, you can also pop these in the oven or air fryer!

1 pound ground lamb

⅓ cup crumbled feta cheese

2 cloves garlic, finely minced

¼ cup finely chopped fresh mint leaves

½ teaspoon smoked paprika or regular paprika

½ cup hummus

4 brioche buns, split and toasted

  1. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil the grate. While the grill is preheating, season the lamb with salt and pepper.  Mix the lamb, cheese, garlic, mint and paprika in a large bowl (for the best texture, mix just until the ingredients are combined).  Shape the lamb mixture into 4
  2. Place the burgers onto the grill. After about 4 minutes, turn the burgers over and cook for 4 minutes more or until the internal temperature reaches 160°
  3. Toast buns on grill if desired. Spread the hummus on the cut sides of the buns. Divide the burgers among the buns and top with your favorite burger toppings (like lettuce, red onion and/or chopped red pepper).
