Turkey Burgers With Tropical Salsa

Mix up your typical cookout spread with these sweet and savory Turkey Burgers!


6 PERDUE® HARVESTLAND® Fresh Ground Turkey Patties (Or make your own patties from PERDUE® Fresh Ground Turkey, 93% Lean)

1 ripe mango, peeled and chopped

1/2 cup pineapple, chopped

1/4 cup red pepper, chopped

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

2 jalapenos, seeded and diced

2 tbsp lime juice

1/2 tsp salt

6 whole grain hamburger buns

1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled

leaf lettuce


Mix together, the mango, pineapple, red pepper, red onion, cilantro, jalapeno, lime juice and salt. Chill for 30 minutes before serving. Season with salt to taste.

Preheat grill on MEDIUM-HIGH. Lightly spray grill with non-stick cooking spray. Place patty in the center of the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes per side. Cook to an internal temperature of 170’F. Arrange on buns with lettuce, salsa and feta.


Make this a low-carb option by serving over salad greens or with large lettuce leaves to act as wraps.

Salsa can be made up to 4 hours in advance
